Who is a Software Engineer at SMT?

If you answered yes to these questions, we’ve got a great opportunity for you with SMT as a Software Engineer!

As a Software Engineer, your game plan will include researching, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet our sports technology systems and business objectives. You will team up with teammates from our Engineering, R&D and Quality Assurance teams to deliver gold medal solutions in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote position out of our Jacksonville, FL division. On-site training in Jacksonville, FL is required for this position.

What is Your Daily Impact at SMT?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Ensure software meets performance, quality, and security standards.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and system architecture.
• Seek out and solve challenging problems.
• Contribute to all aspects of the software development life cycle.
• Work closely with others in both collaborative development and support roles.
• Work on building robust, intuitive, scalable solutions and show ability to be self-directed.
