Giga is launching a new product category at the intersection of modular design and advanced data center infrastructure. As the VP of Engineering, Data Center, you will spearhead the design and development of our next-generation modular data centersengineered in the U.S., manufactured overseas, and installed domestically like scalable building blocks.

You'll lead the full engineering roadmap, integrating electrical distribution, racking, cooling, redundancy, and networking into a complete, shippable solution. Beyond shaping the technical vision, you'll build and lead a U.S.-based engineering team while collaborating closely with our product and manufacturing team in Shanghai and engineering partners in India. This is a high-impact role at the forefront of AI-ready data center design.

This role will be remote with travel up to 25 - 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering strategy, design, and execution for modular data center products.
• Build and lead a U.S.-based engineering team to deliver world-class modular solutions.
• Oversee design of integrated systems including power distribution, cooling, racking, redundancy, and networking.
• Ensure designs are optimized for overseas manufacturing and scalable deployment in the U.S.
• Collaborate with Shanghai-based product / manufacturing teams and Indian engineering resources to bring designs from concept to production.
• Travel internationally to oversee production, resolve design issues, and align global teams.
• Drive innovation in hydro-cooled, AI-ready data center design.
