Develop and implement project plans, processes, and procedures to ensure successful execution of engineering initiatives.

Collaborate with engineering, production, and marketing to keep projects aligned with design intent, timelines, and business objectives.

Technical Leadership

Provide hands-on technical expertise in the design, development, and implementation of control systems.

Support documentation, technical support, and training teams in the release and sustainment of new products and enhancements.

Cross-Functional & External Communication

Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including controls engineering, mechanical engineering, production, product management, documentation, field support, and training.

Interface with external stakeholders such as representatives, installers, field technicians, and end customers as needed.

Cost & Schedule Awareness

Track ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgets and schedules.

Partner with management to review feasibility, manage trade-offs, and address cost or complexity risks.

Industry Awareness & Continuous Improvement

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.

Leverage market knowledge to deliver best-in-class solutions that maintain AAON's competitive advantage.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience in controls or HVAC systems.

6+ years of experience in development of control products, preferably within HVAC or a related industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
