Summary
Location : Onsite, Multiple locations in Stamford, CT
Job Type : Full-time; 35–40 hours weekly depending on location (schedules are typically early mornings to mid-afternoons).
Length of Work Year : 51 weeks
Salary Range : $22.50-27.25–X / hour (rates are based on education and total college credits specific to Early Childhood Education, as per union contract)
About You : You are an energetic and collaborative educator who brings creativity, consistency, and empathy to your classroom. You are eager to build strong partnerships with families and colleagues and to continue growing your skills in an environment that values high-quality teaching and teamwork.
Duties
- Plan and implement curriculum that supports children’s development and learning.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
- Partner and communicate regularly with families and caregivers.
- Document and assess children’s progress through observations and standardized tools.
- Collaborate with co-teachers, support staff, and administrators.
- Supervise Assistant Teachers, Aides, and Substitutes.
- Implement and annually review CLC operating policies, plans, and procedures.
