Engineering Technician

General Summary :

As an Engineering Technician, you will frequently collaborate with Engineers across Qualcomm to optimize the utilization of our equipment and components. You will play a key role in the preliminary stages of our technical processes. Engineering Technicians will also be responsible for upkeeping and implementing operations and safety standards in the workplace to ensure all components of our equipment is properly handled.

Minimum Qualifications :

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Set up and maintain labs with hardware related to networking, displays, multimedia devices, CPU and other similar equipment.

Perform basic measurements following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Conduct basic troubleshooting and perform repairs, rework, removal, and adjustments to the foresaid equipment.

Set up demo equipment using hand tools and / or software test methods to ensure proper operation for customer demonstrations, of various software and electronic technologies

Execute manual and automated software test plans as defined.

This role requires frequent movement throughout the day and tasks involving both fine and gross motor skills to perform essential job functions safely and effectively. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :

$19.78 - $29.68

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
