Job Title : Assembly Operator
Job Description
As an Assembly Operator, you will play a vital role in manufacturing cable assemblies by operating various machinery and completing necessary job documentation. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the manufacturing industry, particularly in medical device production.
Responsibilities
Complete job cards, routers, and job documentation as required.
Maintain material traceability by completing records of materials usage for each job.
Monitor and perform visual and tactile inspection of assembled parts.
Perform proof-loading of assembled parts.
Gather samples for start-up and in-process testing and inspection.
Package and label processed material according to job card instructions.
Report part or process quality issues to a supervisor or quality personnel.
Essential Skills
Experience with assembly line and visual inspection.
Proficiency in using hand tools for cable assembly.
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and good documentation practices.
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
Capability to troubleshoot manufacturing defects.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and problem solve in a fast-paced setting.
A proven understanding of part workmanship.

Work Environment
This position is for the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 : 30 pm, with optional Saturday overtime depending on production needs, from 8 am to 3 pm. The work environment is fast-paced and offers a collaborative atmosphere where you can develop your skills and contribute to the team's success.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allendale, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr.
