An entry-level Claims Representative position requiresa learning nature,empathyand interpersonal skills along witha strong desiretoassistcustomers.

We're currently recruiting for a Claims Representative to work within ourSubrogation Department.

This position will be located at ourDavenport, IAoffice.

What You'll Do

Asa Claims Representative Entry Level,you will :

Thoroughly review policies, reviewingaccident details, and other pertinent information related to the claim.

Develop investigative claims skills by reviewing recorded statements from involved parties and witnesses, reviewingpolice reports, and other pertinent evidence.

Build knowledge to evaluate claims exposure appropriately,establishingtimelyreserves.

Comply withindustry regulations, legal requirements, and internal company policies through thorough documentation of alldecisions, correspondence, and discussions that occur throughout the life cycle of the claim.

Support customers with empathy and understanding,assistingthem throughdifficult situationsand effectively communicating theclaims process, ongoing claim status, and decisions, including the reasoning behind them.

Ability to obtain andmaintainstate licensing requirements

What it Takes

Depending on skills and qualifications, this role can be filled at an Entry Level or Associate level.

Bachelor's degreeor equivalentwork experience

Previous insurance related and / or customer service experience is preferred.

Ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to exercise effective time management skills.

Shows technologicalaptitude.

Associatesmust have the ability to travel as necessary to satisfactorily complete their job responsibilities as assigned.
