We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Beverly Hills on a contract to permanent employment basis. This role offers the opportunity to work within the music industry, handling accounting tasks related to tour and show settlements, payment processing, and invoicing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is eager to grow their accounting skills.
Responsibilities :
- Process tour and show settlements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Manage deposits, invoicing, and payment transactions with precision.
- Follow up on booking documentation to maintain organized records.
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks effectively.
- Record accounting entries and maintain accurate financial data.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed within the accounting department
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience; willing to train the right candidate.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Ability to accurately record accounting entries and maintain detailed records.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
