Data Entry Specialist
We are seeking an entry-level Data Entry Specialist to support sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities. This role involves acquiring materials, equipment, services, and supplies essential to organizational operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with data-particularly in Excel-to support procurement decisions and maintain accurate records. Pay rate for this role is $21.00.
Key Responsibilities :
- Compile and analyze statistical data to evaluate purchasing feasibility and establish pricing objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, reliability, and adherence to delivery schedules.
- Track and analyze price trends, market shifts, and manufacturing processes to support strategic purchasing decisions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize procurement costs and strengthen material acquisition strategies.
- Review supplier proposals, conduct pricing negotiations, and recommend or select appropriate suppliers.
- Follow up on purchase orders, verify delivery of materials / services, approve payments, and maintain detailed procurement records.
- Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) and bid packages as needed.
