An HR Generalist is responsible for managing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding : Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new employee orientations.
Employee Relations : Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
Benefits Administration : Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave of absence management.
Performance Management : Coordinate performance evaluation processes, assist managers with employee assessments, and implement training and development programs.
Policy Implementation : Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Data Management : Maintain accurate employee records and manage data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
Qualifications
Education : A Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Experience : 3-4 years of experience in an HR role, preferably as an HR Generalist.
Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, and a solid understanding of employment laws and regulations.
