Entry level information technology [h1.location_city]

We are currently hiring a Project Lead with expertise in leading digital applications projects for a Contract-to-Hire position in Houston, TX. This position will initially be fully onsite, however may convert to a hybrid work setting at the client's discretion. Extended work hours may be required due to situational emergencies.

This role involves managing large, complex, and highly reliable systems, ensuring they run smoothly and without interruption. The Project Lead will also manage a team that creates reports and custom applications, and supports application deployment. Additionally, they will evaluate and integrate new technologies as needed.

Please note : this position is not open to third party (i.e. Corp to Corp / C2C) vendors.

You :

• 6 years of prior work experience supporting / leading IT applications, including work with computer-aided dispatch
• 1 year prior work experience in public safety strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management and Information Systems (MIS) or a closely related field. Experience or certifications may be substituted for education.
• Current resident of the Houston Metropolitan area.
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
