Key Responsibilities of the Pharmaceutical Sales Representative :
- Customer Focus : Build positive relationships by penetrating large accounts and identifying key decision-makers.
- Strategic Planning : Develop a territory plan that includes specific goals and resource allocation (coverage, samples, grant proposals, etc.) for key customers.
- Formulary Management : Secure formulary acceptance and compliance with managed care accounts.
- Scientific Acumen : Maintain a strong understanding of clinical papers and relevant scientific data.
- Partnership Approach : Collaborate with customers as a proactive business partner, leveraging long-term trends to create Account Business Plans.
- Consultative Selling : Utilize consultative skills to assist customers in meeting their business needs.
