Position Description :

Pharmacy Technicians, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the various activities of the pharmacy department. Pharmacy Technicians assist the pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and maintenance of records. Pharmacy Technicians function in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines and state and federal regulations. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Qualifications

Job Duties / Responsibilities Requirements :

• Minimum one to three years hospital experience required. Pyxis experience with knowledge of Pyxis reports.
• General education level completion. Associate's Degree preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician License by California Board of Pharmacy.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
