The Serviceability Analyst is responsible for analyzing new model releases across all brands and platforms reviewing change orders and determining the requirements for new service item set up. This role sets up new service parts annually making critical decisions related to painting packaging pricing list codes customer purchasing options and initial forecasting. The initial set up is conducted in three or more systems. The Serviceability Analyst also maintains existing part codingincluding supersessions service life and last production dateevaluates SKU activity to make end-of-life recommendations and assists the material planning team with lifetime buy decisions.

The Job :

• Review of new models and engineering changes released within multiple applications including Teamcenter Infor QAD and Windchill to determine which parts will be serviceable to the customer.
• Establishes service part pricing consistent with overall pricing strategy while maintaining consistent discount requirements across multiple systems.
• Maintains all part coding including but not limited to super-cessions S&OP service life list codes (CSP insertion) etc.
• Inserts and maintains service parts in the Part Master and QAD Applications
• Assists warranty team in creation of service advisories & service kits
• Works with the engineering team to understand new whole good launches as well as critical engineering revisions
• Assist in part lifetime buy decisions
• Performs part end of life decisions while supporting the excess and obsolescence team.
• Executes critical time sensitive projects
