About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our industry-leading Trust & Estate practice. You'll work with high-net-worth individuals and families on complex tax planning and compliance while managing client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex fiduciary income tax returns (Forms 1041, 1040, 706, 709)
  • Provide tax planning and consulting for trusts, estates, and beneficiaries
  • Advise on estate and gift tax matters and wealth transfer strategies
  • Collaborate with estate planning attorneys and financial advisors
  • Research complex tax issues and prepare technical memoranda
  • Manage multiple client engagements and supervise staff
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships

Qualifications

Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA license (or actively pursuing)
  • 5-7 years of tax experience with significant trust and estate focus
  • Strong technical knowledge of trust, estate, and wealth transfer taxation
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities

    • Preferred :

  • Master's degree in Taxation or LL.M. in Taxation
  • Experience with ultra-high-net-worth clients and complex family structures
  • Multi-state fiduciary income tax knowledge
