JOB DESCRIPTION
PrideStaff Financial is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Facilities Manager to oversee the operational efficiency and physical integrity of the facility. The ideal candidate must be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of building systems, safety regulations, and budget management. This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive environment for employees and operations. This job is an in-person, hands-on job in Plantation.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, security, etc.).
- Oversee and coordinate all repair and maintenance activities, both in-house and through external contractors.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Ensure all building systems and equipment operate efficiently and in compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for services such as cleaning, landscaping, security, waste management, and specialized repairs.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
- Track and report on facility-related expenses, identifying areas for potential savings.
- Develop, implement, and enforce facility-specific safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., OSHA, ADA, fire codes).
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Manage emergency preparedness plans, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and disaster recovery.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of [e.g., maintenance technicians, custodians.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct performance reviews.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all facility-related inquiries and issues from employees and management.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare regular reports on facility performance, projects, and budget status.
