Description

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions delivers a beyond expectations waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-themed resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.

We are inviting you to apply for our Waterpark Maintenance Manager position . In this role, you will oversee the water park maintenance operations, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives for ride maintenance, ride checks, repairs, guest service satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.

We require you to have a background of at least two years of progressive experience in a water attractions environment and two years' experience in managing others. You should be able to work all shifts, holidays and / or weekends.

Required :

  • Certified pool operator (CPO) or ability to quickly gain certification.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning / heating systems, plumbing, and total facility maintenance.
  • Knowledge of common ride maintenance repairs.
  • Experience managing a preventative maintenance program.
  • Knowledge of daily operations for a waterpark, YMCA or other leisure / vacation venue.

Preferred :

  • Knowledge of leisure activities / commercial recreation in a “for profit” setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a labor budget and read basic financial documents.
