The Clinical Specialist plays a crucial support role, collaborating with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) to empower Cardiologists, nurses, cath lab staff, and patients in utilizing the Cordella PA Sensor System effectively. This position includes responsibilities such as training, troubleshooting, data analysis, and field service activities, all aimed at enhancing customer experiences. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will engage daily with physicians, hospital personnel, and patients.
Your Impact :
Assist in implant procedures within the designated territory.
Maintain regular contact with customers to assess their clinical and educational needs.
Facilitate meetings with internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve field issues.
Lead site meetings, including initiation visits, within the designated territory.
Conduct on-site training for physicians, heart failure staff, research personnel, and cath lab teams.
Perform on-site field service activities and troubleshooting as necessary.
Represent IHFM at conferences and symposiums to promote our innovative solutions.
Initiate site contacts, providing essential technical and clinical support to customers and patients.
Collaborate with various departments to prioritize company objectives, product development, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
Associate's Degree or equivalent in Nursing or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in medical devices, cath lab practices, or clinical work in an acute care setting.
Preferred Qualifications :
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Basic knowledge in valve crimping, case management, and clinical education programs.
Understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and related medical products.
Familiarity with medical device regulatory requirements and documentation.
Ability to convey the clinical value of Edwards products.
Competence in managing local market programs for physicians and staff.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Capacity to navigate a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate on inter-departmental projects.
