As a Family Educator, you will be responsible for conducting home visits, where you will support families in raising healthy, happy, and successful children. You will work closely with parents and caregivers of children ages 0-3 to provide educational opportunities and guidance for parents, as well as conduct assessments to identify where our help is needed most. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and best practices in education and social services. WORK SCHEDULE:
This position involves frequent evenings, and schedules vary week to week between staff and family needs. Days may begin as early as 7:30 a.m. and end as late as 8:00 p.m. Our goal is to meet with families when it is convenient for them, therefore our schedules meet their needs.
FLEX SCHEDULING is available, however this position can work no more than 40 hours per week.

Child Start's Family Educator position is $18.13 per hour, 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year.

Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
In compliance with KDHE requirements, Child Start will request proof of measles (MMR) vaccination or documented immunity during the employment process.
This is not a remote position, must be able to commute daily to Wichita, KS.
