A company is looking for a Clinical Reviewer, Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Oncology).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial clinical reviews and render authorization approvals based on established criteria
Act as a clinical liaison to providers, clients, and patients regarding medical necessity decisions
Coordinate with utilization management staff to ensure timely communication of clinical decisions
Required Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, or a master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program
3 to 5 years of experience in Oncology practice
Current, unrestricted state PA or RN / NP license in medicine or required specialty
Passing score on a national certifying exam for PAs
Knowledge of regulatory requirements with at least two years of experience in a regulatory role (preferred)
