Position Information Position Title Film Studies (Continuous Adjunct Pool) Position Description POSITION SUMMARY

This is a POOL position. Application materials for this part-time position are accepted on an on-going basis. As openings for temporary, part-time film studies instructors become available, candidates may be selected from this pool of applicants. Required Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students

AND

Master’s degree in Film / Cinema and Media Studies, Film, Television, and Media Studies, Drama / Theater, Mass Communication

OR

Bachelor’s degree in any of the above

AND

Master’s degree in Visual Studies, Media Studies, English, or Communication

OR the equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience teaching motion picture appreciation is preferred. Licenses and Certificates LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
