Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Finance Controller in Grand Rapids, MI.Duties :

• Finance Controller will collaborate with project managers to drive the financial success of active projects
• Assist with preparation, analysis, and reporting of project forecasts
• Challenge project teams constructively to identify risks, quantify potential impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies
• Oversee and validate project financial projections (Estimates at Completion), ensuring all variances are clearly documented with root-cause explanations
• Review contract terms and monitor performance to strengthen financial results, including supporting change order and scope-adjustment processes
• As a Finance Controller, you will manage project working capital, focusing on healthy cash flow and timely financial transactions
• Present monthly financial performance updates to senior project leadership and develop accompanying dashboards or management reports
• Lead weekly update sessions with project managers to ensure forecast accuracy and timely submission of required information

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical / dental / vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
