Video Producer 1, 2, 3

We’re Stoltz Marketing Group, a globally recognized agency in Boise, Idaho. Stoltz is a marketing agency that offers a rare combination of data, insights, and emotional intelligence to make impactful work for hardworking brands. There aren’t many agencies like us, literally : We’re one of less than 1% of US agencies that are woman owned. But that’s just one of many reasons we stand out from the rest. And our work speaks for itself : We create future-proof brands and bold campaigns that don’t miss.

About the Position

The Video Producer role is a Boise-based position, responsible for ensuring our clients’ success by contributing to projects with a variety of creative approaches. You will work with the Stoltz team to develop our clients’ strategic marketing initiatives and collaborate on conceptual solutions and video production. This position reports to the Executive Creative Director as an integral role on the creative team.

This role is multifaceted. It’s roughly half “one-person band” for video productions for Stoltz and our clients (or more like two- or three-person band).. The other half is split between working with external production companies and crew; concepting and consulting with the Stoltz team for campaign concepts that include video; and continued education and experimentation – including Ai –  to work on your craft.

Stoltz Values and Norms

We believe in Initiative, Passion, and Versatility. Beyond skills and tactics, we look for team members who show up fully, respect others, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

Video Producer 1 Responsibilities

  • Contribute to concepting with the creative and account team to create integrated marketing campaigns that include video content.
  • Create compelling content through visual storytelling using sight, sound, and motion.

  • Contribute to all aspects of video production : concept development, script writing, planning, pre-visualization, filming, directing, and editing.
  • Demonstrate passion for design, cinematography, and aesthetics.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and care for your craft.
  • Follow a clearly defined timeline, scope, and budget and understand video brand guidelines.
  • Proactively communicate project status, recommendations, and analysis.
  • Contribute to full video productions, including but not limited to, identifying crew, storyboarding, casting & talent coordination, set design, location scouting, preparing pre-production materials like  shoot books and shot lists, filming, directing, archiving. Footage scrubbing, editing, motion graphics, color-correcting and exporting final pieces per specifications required.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects

Video Producer 2 Responsibilities (Includes all VP1 responsibilities, plus...)

  • Advance knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Davinci Resolve (or equal color correction platform).
  • Knowledge of compression rates, video and audio codecs, frame rates, standard dimensions and media formats.
  • Knowledge of Cinema and mirrorless cameras, lighting setups, and audio recording.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve projects beyond the client “ask”.
  • Support motion graphics workflow and collaborate closely with art directors to provide clear direction on project needs.
  • Expertise in specialized areas of video production — such as drone videography, advanced motion graphics, mastering and finishing)
  • Video Producer 3 Responsibilities (Includes all VP2 responsibilities, plus...)

  • Help craft and deliver pitch presentations to clients and prospects.
  • Advance knowledge of Cinema and mirrorless cameras, lighting techniques & setups, and audio recording.
  • Advance knowledge of compression rates, video and audio codecs, frame rates, standard dimensions and media formats.
  • Plan, lead, and fully execute video productions, including but not limited to, identifying crew, storyboarding, casting & talent coordination, set design, location scouting, preparing pre-production materials like shoot books and shot lists, filming, directing, archiving. Footage scrubbing, editing, motion graphics, color-grading and exporting final pieces per specifications required.
  • Help facilitate workflow and capacity of the team.

  • You need heavy oversight — our team values independence.
  • You don’t enjoy collaboration, feedback, or a fast-paced environment.
