PTC Windchill system experience is a plus. Ability to understand technical processes being documented. Optics knowledge is a plus. Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all documentation produced. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, adapting to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Job Description :
Client’s Advanced Optics plant in Fairport, NY is seeking a technical writer to improve existing and develop new technical documentation. The documentation being developed is for use by manufacturing and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Documentation Creation : Develop and improve work instructions, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and job aids.
- Collaboration : Work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and operations gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Research : Investigate and analyze technical information from various sources to create comprehensive documentation that meets user needs.
- Editing and Proofreading : Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company style guidelines.
- Basic Project Management : Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.
