Role

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join the Technical Publications department. This is a hybrid role based in San Jose CA three days a week reporting to the Senior Manager Technical Publications. You will help deliver a growing portfolio of capabilities in threat prevention and business enablement by turning complex technical information into clear effective documentation. What youll do (Role Expectations)

• Translate complex technical information into high-quality documentation and UI textincluding release notes tooltips and error messagestailored for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Enhance documentation usability and clarity by integrating strategic graphics illustrations and visual aids
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SMEs in Engineering Field Support Sales and Product Marketing to ensure technical accuracy and content relevance
• Drive user experience by establishing documentation standards style guides and terminology to ensure consistency across all platforms
• Lead and mentor the technical writing team while overseeing project scheduling and management to ensure the timely delivery of all documentation initiatives

Zscalers salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission / bonus / equity (if applicable) benefits.

Base Pay Range

$87500 - $125000 USD
