Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage relationships with shippers and carriers to facilitate freight movement.
- Utilize your established book of business to generate new sales opportunities.
- Negotiate rates and contracts to maximize profitability and service quality.
- Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that arise during shipping.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Proven experience as a Freight Broker with a strong book of business.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proficient in using freight brokerage software and CRM tools.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
