Job details Spherion Sioux Falls has openings for Material Handlers. This position will perform all the material handling responsibilities between the Printing and Finishing Departments.

Pay: $19-20/hour DOE and Shift

Responsibilities:
-Work with printing and finishing teams to follow their schedules in order to meet all material handling responsibilities ... -Stage loads from press finish lines
-Pallet management to include pallet removal and placement for palletizing
-Stretch-wrap loads to prepare for shipment
-Corrugate at packing end of gluers
-Palletize and wrap the roll cores for transportation
-Load roll cores on scrap trailer
-Dispose of printed waste once the teams have documented the waste
-Help teams keep area neat and clean: sweep, re-pile pallets, fix broken pallets, etc.
-Complete daily forklift maintenance and communicate problems to warehouse crew
-Take window's loads over to appropriate finishing lines
-Weekend responsibility to remove bales
-Notify warehouse when dumpster is full
-Be able to work scheduled hours

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-High School/GED diploma
-Certification to operate a forklift in a safe and proper manner
-Ability to work well with little direct supervision
-Mechanically inclined
-Ability to lift 60 lbs
-Have good organizational skills
-Able to train other people how to do your job
-Be able to follow procedures
-Must be self-motivated
-Be willing and able to work any shift and overtime when needed
-Read, write, and understand English
-Working knowledge of basic math
-Basic computer knowledge
