Become a Substitute Teacher with Teachers Now – Make an Impact in the Dallas and Fort Worth Area!

Make a difference every day in Dallas-Fort Worth in classrooms with students that are eager to learn!

Teachers Now is looking to hire dependable and motivated Substitute Teachers to serve schools in Dallas-Fort Worth , TX . This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support your community by providing stability to student learning, contributing to a positive and productive classroom environment when regular teachers are away.

What You’ll Do

Lead classroom instruction using lesson plans provided by the teacher

Create a respectful and well-organized learning environment

Manage classroom behavior and encourage student participation

Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions

Assign and review classwork and homework aligned with learning goals

Record attendance and report concerns to school staff

Collaborate with school personnel to support academic and behavioral outcomes

For long-term roles, develop and deliver your own lesson plans in alignment with curriculum

Schedule

Availability : Monday through Friday

Full Day : 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Half Day : Between 7 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM or 12 : 00 PM – 4 : 00 PM (Depends on grade level - 4 hour shift)

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or 60 Credit Hours (Required)

1 year of experience in a classroom or childcare setting (preferred)

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Dependable transportation and consistent attendance

Substitute Teacher Compensation (Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas) : Starting at $90-120 / day (Based on level of education / teacher certification)
