AY2526 Development / Fundraising Internship - Make A Wish (Work-Study Required)
This position is off campus and will be paid at $15 / hour. This position is open for the Spring 2026 semester.
For this internship, it is required that applicants submit a writing sample with their resume and cover
letter. Responsibilities include :
- Assisting the development team that is responsible for raising funds for children's wishes
- Obtaining information about children's wishes to write wish stories for thank you letters
- Assisting with the Kids For Wish Kids® and Wishmakers On Campus® fundraising programs
- Updating fundraising reports using Microsoft Excel
- Utilizing fundraising software for donor care
- Attending event planning meetings, as needed
- Assisting at events depending on intern's availability (Events are usually during weekends or evenings)
- Learning about corporate and individual giving
- Making follow-up telephone calls to donors and volunteers (no telemarketing involved)
- Assisting in office duties as needed
