Location: Mendota Heights, MN Pay Rate: $31.00 $39.00 per hour 1st Shift: Monday Friday

When responsibility calls, you're ready to lead. These are the qualifications that matter:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control, demand planning, and supplier evaluation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (JobBOSS preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the full procurement cycle, including initiating and processing purchase orders, expediting delayed shipments, and resolving returns or credit issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments to review requisitions, forecast material requirements, and ensure on-time delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, and contract files.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Conduct supplier visits and participate in trade shows to identify and qualify new vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to reduce costs and strengthen supplier partnerships.
• Analyze market trends and financial data to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Oversee inventory management initiatives, including demand forecasting, Just-in-Time (JIT) practices, and purchasing consolidation to reduce excess stock and improve operational efficiency.
• Track key performance metrics and prepare reports to support continuous improvement.
