Windwalker Group is seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and dynamic individuals with excellent customer service skills to join our winning team of Unarmed Security Guards.

The experience and training help prepare guards for careers in municipal, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, and civil service departments. Security Guards are tasked with maintaining duty logs, recording visitor ingress, and ensuring the safety and security of facilities, and ensuring properties are free of trespassers.

Position Overview: The Security Guard plays a pivotal role in maintaining the security and safety of the premises by monitoring access, providing assistance to visitors, and coordinating dispatching activities. This position requires a vigilant and proactive individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gate Security:Monitor access points, including the front gate, to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.Verify identification and credentials of incoming individuals and vehicles.Enforce security protocols and procedures to prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activities.Respond promptly to alarms or distress calls and take appropriate action as per protocol.
• Visitor Assistance:Greet visitors, guests, and vendors courteously and provide them with necessary assistance and directions.Issue visitor passes and ensure compliance with visitor management policies.Address inquiries and provide information regarding facility amenities, events, or procedures.
• Dispatching Duties:Operate communication equipment, such as two-way radios or telephones, to dispatch security personnel or emergency services.Receive and relay messages, requests for assistance, or incident reports in a clear and concise manner.Coordinate with on-site and off-site personnel to ensure timely response to incidents or emergencies.Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including logs of calls, responses, and resolutions.
• Emergency Response:Assist in emergency response procedures, including evacuations, lockdowns, or medical emergencies.Provide support to emergency services personnel, such as guiding them to the location of incidents or providing access to restricted areas.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Proven experience in security, dispatching, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Proficiency in using communication equipment and computer systems.
• Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for extended periods.
