We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to join our team specializing in accounting, payroll, and tax services for restaurant businesses. With over 25 years of firsthand industry experience, we understand the unique financial challenges our clients face. The ideal candidate will support our mission by delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial services that allow our clients to focus on running their operations with confidence and peace of mind.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients
- Process and manage payroll, including payroll tax filings and compliance
- Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax returns
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Communicate directly with clients to address questions and provide financial insights
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and efficiency
Required Skills & Education
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Recent accounting experience (Restaurant clients Required)
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.G., QuickBooks or similar platforms)
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
