Amazing work/life balance Fully remote Job Details Responsibilities: Evaluate lawsuits to gather all relevant information and devise legal strategies for defense Identify potential risks to policyholders or the company Create and execute a suitable plan for collecting evidence and file necessary motions Get ready for and attend all court proceedings related to cases, including trials and arbitrations Regularly communicate with policyholders and claims representatives about case progress Prepare and present legal opinions on claims matters Participate in negotiation and settlement discussions with external parties Requirements: Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Member of the CA bar At least 1 year of insurance defense litigation Must have insurance defense experience, ideally automobile, personal injury, and premises liability Demonstrated ability to handle a demanding workload and prioritize tasks Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision on a daily basis Interested in hearing more?
