Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent guest experiences, and drive profitability. The General Manager will lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, maintain high standards, and foster a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff across all departments.

  • Monitor and maintain quality standards for food, service, cleanliness, and safety.

  • Manage budgets, control costs, and achieve financial goals.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.

  • Oversee scheduling and labor management to maximize productivity.

  • Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain menu quality and consistency.

  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives to grow revenue.

  • Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the restaurant industry.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, financials, and customer service.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.

  • Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, and basic financial reporting.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.

  • Comfortable working in both front-of-house and kitchen environments.
