Laborer – Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Sort and separate paint based on quality and color.
  • Open and consolidate paint containers for processing. (Discard packaging materials appropriately.)
  • Assist during collection events – collecting, sorting, and packaging paint material/ containers at event site(s) as needed.
  • Assist with workspace and facility maintenance/ cleaning. Keeping a safe environment!
  • Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.

Job requirements / knowledge:

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, bending, lifting containers of up to or more than 50 pounds, opening paint containers). Repetitive movements throughout the course of any given workday/workweek.
  • Must be able to identify different colors for the recycling process.
  • Must be comfortable with scraping paint buckets, shipping, and labeling.
  • Must be able to operate manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and wheeled carts safely.
  • Occasionally, must be willing to work during non-business hours at facility or off-site locations for collection events.
  • Must be able to work in a team setting and follow instructions from direct Supervisor.
  • Commitment to safety.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks for loading and unloading pallets in excess of 800 lbs.
  • Will be required to lift 60 lbs, possibly higher at times.
  • Forklift certified is a plus.
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse/labor setting is a plus.
  • Seeking reliable / dependable individuals!
  • Must be comfortable working with paints! Very Dirty - paint odors!

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with overtime if/as needed

Pay:

$19.00 per hour

Location:

Located in South Denver, near S. Sante Fe and W. Mississippi Ave

Drug & background screen required – THC is NOT tested for pre-employment.
