General Manager
Are you a restaurant leader who knows how to build a great team, deliver an unforgettable guest experience, and drive strong business results? We're looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our BelAir Cantina team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys being present in the restaurant, developing people, and creating a workplace where team members and guests genuinely want to return.
As General Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the success of the restaurant, including:
- Leading, coaching, and developing the restaurant management and hourly teams
- Creating a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace culture
- Delivering exceptional hospitality and consistently high food and beverage standards
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, and retaining great team members
- Managing labor, food costs, inventory, sales, and other key performance measures
- Maintaining restaurant cleanliness, safety, licensing, and operational compliance
- Addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Partnering with company leadership to achieve restaurant and company goals
- Conducting weekly management meetings and communicating clear priorities
- Supporting other restaurant locations when occasional business needs arise
Our ideal candidate is a confident and approachable leader who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and knows how to bring out the best in a team. Qualifications include:
- At least three years of restaurant management experience; General Manager experience preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
- Experience managing restaurant financial performance, including labor and food costs
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Bilingual skills are a plus
A current Wisconsin Food Manager Certification and local operator's license are preferred. We can assist the selected candidate with required certifications and eligible licensing expenses.
Schedule and work environment:
- Five-day workweek with two scheduled days off
- Approximately 45 or more hours per week, based on business needs
- Must have the flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- This is an in-person, hands-on restaurant leadership position
- Occasional travel to other company locations may be required

Physical requirements:
- Stand and walk for extended periods, sometimes up to 10 hours
- Work actively throughout the restaurant and assist the team as needed
- Occasionally lift or move restaurant products and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Meet the scheduling and physical demands of a busy restaurant operation
