Join Our Team as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Are you a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner passionate about cardiovascular health? We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional inpatient care within a dynamic hospital setting. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on adult patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures and treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support staff coverage in the cardiovascular department, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
• Manage 2-10 adult patients per day, primarily following post-procedure care and pre-procedure consult workups.
• Conduct follow-up phone calls to patients to ensure optimal recovery and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using Cerner and Change Healthcare cardiology PACS EMR systems.
• Assist with special procedures and patient education in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Required Skills:

• Valid state license as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Board certification in relevant specialty.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, post-procedure care, and clinical documentation.
• Excellent communication and compassionate patient interaction skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with inpatient cardiology services.
• Familiarity with Cerner and Change Healthcare EMR systems.
• Additional certifications in cardiology or critical care.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing.
• Proven experience in cardiovascular patient management and consult work.
• Prior hospital-based inpatient care experience.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work 4 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Shifts are day hours (07:00 – 17:00), 4x10-hour days.
• Credentialing process duration of 60-90 days.
• Valid DEA and CSR licenses.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting post-procedure patient care and follow-ups.
• No licensing outside the state required; clinicians must hold current licenses and certifications.

This position offers a highly competitive hourly pay rate of $140.70, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick leave, and a robust referral bonus program.
