HCA Midwest Health is seeking a thoracic surgeon to join our group of highly skilled surgeons in the Kansas City Metro area.

Qualified Candidates :

  • Thoracic surgery fellowship & ABTS certification required
  • Broad skillset in thoracic surgery, a subspecialty interest is preferred
  • Ability to obtain licensure in Missouri and Kansas

Program Highlights :

  • Offers the opportunity to be part of Sarah Cannon Cancer Network with the ability to collaborate with leading oncology experts nationwide
  • Dedicated thoracic surgery team including experienced OR nurses, surgical technologists and physician assistants who specialize in thoracic procedures and complex post-operative care
  • Comprehensive surgical resources including advanced imaging systems, navigational bronchoscopy and specialized instrumentation for both open and minimally invasive approaches
  • Thoracic surgeons operate in two metro facilities with a robust and growing structural heart program anchored at Research Medical Center
  • Educate the next generation of physicians through our ACGME accredited cardiology fellowship program
  • Ability to participate in a full array of industry-leading, innovative clinical trials and contribute to the extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed publications
