Grants Capital Project Manager

Hiring Range $87,921.60 to $117,235.73

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Capital Projects Grants Manager serves as the project manager for all capital grantors, leading the planning, coordination, and regulatory compliance of grant-related capital development projects across SCF's service area. This role is critical to ensuring compliance of capital grants funded projects and SCF's infrastructure investmentssuch as healthcare facilities and rural provider housingare strategically developed, grant-compliant, and aligned with organizational priorities. The Capital Planner provides guidance on federal and grant requirements during pre-construction phases and works in close collaboration with the facilities leadership and Construction Project Managers.

The Capital Projects Grants Manager is responsible for providing high level mentorship, planning, direction, compliance for grantor and audit requirements. This role includes comprehensive capital grant project management, support and guidance to divisions, departments, and Grant Department working with capital funding. Through collaborative work groups, the Capital Projects Grants Manager cultivate innovative and competitive applications that support corporate goals and objectives and ensure programmatic sustainability. This position leads cross-functional grant implementation teams consisting of a program manager, Finance Manager, appointed division leadership, Contracts Department employees, and a team of key employees to manage complex capital grant opportunities.

Qualifications:

SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:

1. Bachelor's, Business Administration, Public Administration, Planning, Law, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Three (3) years of experience to include operating or managing high-value or complex grants, writing funded proposals encompassing a variety of funders for health care, behavioral health or a combination involving at least two (2) of the following: health care facilities and infrastructure, social services programs, education and/or community economic development.

3. Four (4) years of experience in capital project management funded at least in part with federal funding; can be in conjunction with experience managing high value or complex grants.

Native Preference:

Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
