Job Type: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking Electrical Designers with experience in BIM modeling, electrical systems design, and construction documentation to support engineering projects across multiple Jacobs Engineering locations in the U.S. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 2 days onsite weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and modify electrical system designs using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Support BIM modeling and design coordination activities.
Prepare electrical layouts, cable routing drawings, lighting systems, and related construction documentation.
Interpret and apply applicable codes, standards, and construction specifications.
Create and maintain electrical one-line diagrams and system documentation.
Follow client design and modeling standards.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
Review and respond to design markups using Bluebeam or similar software.
Estimate design and modeling hours based on project markups and verbal direction.
Support project deliverables within established timelines and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of BIM design experience.
2+ years of experience in electrical systems design and construction industry projects.
2+ years of Revit and/or AutoCAD experience.
Understanding of electrical codes and industry standards.
Basic understanding of wiring/cabling connections and device/equipment interconnections.
Experience following client design and modeling standards.
Familiarity with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to estimate design/modeling effort and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in data center environments.
Knowledge of power systems, cable routing, and lighting system design.
Experience creating and interpreting electrical one-line diagrams.
Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering projects.
