Selectek is partnering with a firm in Louisville, Kentucky to hire a CAD Drafter / Designer on a contract-to-direct basis. Candidates will assist with the design of parts, assemblies and equipment for large industrial projects.
Employment Type : Contract-to-Direct
Location : Louisville, KY
Expected Pay Range : $24 / hr. - $30 / hr before permanent conversion based on certification and experience
Experience Required :
Three-plus years designing parts
Inventor and AutoCAD experience
Job Details :
Interpret existing prints and release for production new prints on a daily basis.
Create installation drawings.
Design parts as well as metal products (equipment)
Knowledge of Weld assemblies
Support fabrication on manufacturing floor as needed.
Must be able to accurately measure individual equipment components and entire assemblies.
Look up and modify existing drawings.
Check dimensions and materials to be used.
Be able to specify and locate individual components, i.e. bearings, air cylinders, hardware, etc.
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
