We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Groundskeeper to join our team at Sterlingshire Apartments, in Houston TX.Position SummaryThe Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, curb appeal, and appearance of the apartment community. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and prospective residents by ensuring common areas, grounds, and exterior spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain the cleanliness and appearance of the community grounds, parking lots, sidewalks, breezeways, and common areas.Remove trash and debris from the property daily.Empty and maintain dumpster areas and trash receptacles.Clean community amenities, laundry rooms, offices, and vacant units as directed.Assist with apartment make-readies, including trash removal and basic cleaning.Monitor the property for safety hazards and report maintenance concerns promptly.Perform seasonal duties such as leaf removal, snow removal, and ice treatment as needed.Assist the maintenance team with minor tasks and projects.Ensure company standards for curb appeal and property presentation are consistently maintained.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, vendors, and visitors.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous porter, groundskeeper, janitorial, or apartment maintenance experience preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean community.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, walking, standing, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.Affordable housing experience is a plus.BenefitsEureka Multifamily Group offers a competitive compensation package, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid Holidays401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramProfessional Development OpportunitiesEqual Opportunity EmployerEureka Multifamily Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
