- Encourage client engagement, promote positive behavioral change, and provide motivational counseling techniques to support recovery and accountability.
- Complete class rosters, attendance logs, and all required documentation promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with agency, program, and legal standards.
- Communicate regularly with program staff and legal representatives to verify client status, report outcomes, and ensure timely updates.
- Uphold strict confidentiality requirements, ethical standards, and program integrity at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall functioning and success of the program.
- Use of company vehicles may be subject to monitoring via in-vehicle dashcam systems for safety, compliance, and operational purposes. These systems may collect video, audio (in limited situations), and telematics data during vehicle use. As a condition of employment in a position requiring the operation of agency vehicles, employees are required to acknowledge and consent to the use of such monitoring technologies. Refusal to provide consent may disqualify an individual from being assigned driving responsibilities. All monitoring is conducted in compliance with applicable California privacy laws.
- May encounter risk of working with persons with SMI (serious mental illness) that may include, but not limited to persons in mental health crisis, persons that may be intoxicated or impaired by drugs or alcohol, persons who may be DTO (danger to others), DTS (Danger to Self), or GD (Gravely Disabled). If such situations arise, staff will be required to call local emergency personnel to help deescalate the crisis, use crisis intervention techniques, and consult with supervisor as soon as practically possible.
