The Club has been a Birmingham institution for more than 70 years, with its breathtaking view of the city, unique architecture, and one-of-a kind restaurants and service. Our goal is excellence through uncompromising service to our members in a caring and respectful manner. Our team provides high level of service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to our members with three full-service restaurants, bar and terrace, along with a high volume of event activity. Sous Chef Qualifications
Minimum of three years’ experience in high volume kitchen preferred. Any combination of education training or experience, Culinary, or Apprenticeship preferred
Extensive understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
Able to manage time wisely and prioritize assignments to meet time restrictions of event REQUIRED
Able to manage your time as well as staff's time
Familiar with inventory count
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in fast paced high stress environment
Enforcing the standards and sanitation of ServSafe
Able to multitask and complete culinary tasks simultaneously
Must be a self-driven cook / chef who is looking to grow their career
