Sous Chef Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in high volume kitchen preferred. Any combination of education training or experience, Culinary, or Apprenticeship preferred
• Extensive understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
• Able to manage time wisely and prioritize assignments to meet time restrictions of event REQUIRED
• Able to manage your time as well as staff's time
• Familiar with inventory count
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in fast paced high stress environment
• Enforcing the standards and sanitation of ServSafe
• Able to multitask and complete culinary tasks simultaneously
• Must be a self-driven cook / chef who is looking to grow their career
