Minimum Qualifications

Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education / experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a coach, athlete or support staff member of a Division I volleyball program.

Position Summary

Assist head coach with highly competitive, Division I Volleyball Program in the SEC ; assist with administration as it relates to recruiting, budgets, traveling, public relations, fund-raising camps, and clinics; organizing and conducting practices and competitions, administering and promoting all phases of the Volleyball Program.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and / or Competencies

• Evaluate and compare athletic talent for potential growth and development of student-athletes.
• Successful recruiting experience.
• Comprehend and adhere to NCAA , SEC , and institutional policies and procedures in the sport of Volleyball.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals, customers, and the general public.
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only a limited standardization exists.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
