Director - Quality and Safety
Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Fort Wayne leadership team in the role of Director - Quality and Safety.
The Director of Quality and Safety provides strategic, operational, and thought leadership to support Indiana University Health goals. This Director is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of the Quality Assessment / Performance Improvement (QAPI) and Infection Prevention (IP) Program(s) within the Region, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, medical staff and senior leadership. This leader works collaboratively with colleagues to ensure measurable improvement in health outcomes, prevention of medical errors, and reduction of patient harm. The Director guides, facilitates, and influences the alignment of clinical quality, patient safety, and infection prevention improvement efforts within the Region by promoting adoption of local and national benchmarking for best practices. This leader ensures active regional representation and engagement in IU Health System quality, patient safety and infection prevention initiatives.
