About the Employer

With schools dating back to the 1870s, the award-winning Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) is now the 16th largest school district in California. RUSD educates nearly 42,000 students across 50 schools in Riverside. The District serves a large portion of Riverside as well as the unincorporated areas of Highgrove and Woodcrest. RUSD is led by its 13th Superintendent, Dr. Sonia Llamas and is governed by a Board of Education comprised of publicly elected officials who serve five different trustee areas.

Job Summary

BASIC FUNCTION :

Under the direction of an Assistant Principal or an assigned supervisor, administer basic first aid, dispense medications, and screen ill or injured students in accordance with State laws and established District regulations and procedures; prepare and maintain a variety of records, files

and reports.

After a conditional offer of employment, applicants will be required to pay the cost of all pre-employment processing which may include, but are not limited to : physical / functional capacity examinations, drug / alcohol screening, tuberculosis screening questionnaire, and criminal background check. Additionally applicants will be required to complete / participate in pre-employment training which may include, but is not limited to the following : AB1432 Mandated Reporting training, Sexual Harassment training, Safety training, and Technology Acceptable Use.
