We are looking for an experienced Accounting Administrator to join our team in DeSoto, Kansas. This role is vital in ensuring pricing accuracy, investigating account deductions, and maintaining financial integrity for assigned customer accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to solving complex accounting challenges.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate pricing data within the company's systems to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Work closely with the Customer Service team to address and resolve pricing discrepancies on purchase orders.
• Execute promotional pricing adjustments promptly to support business operations.
• Analyze account activities to identify trends and reduce financial leakage for assigned accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deduction processes and enhance overall efficiency.
• Process customer debit and credit transactions while managing cash-on-account balances.
• Investigate invalid deductions, obtain necessary documentation, and follow up to resolve issues.
• Assist with invoice processing and ensure timely handling of accounts payable and receivable.
• Handle multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining professionalism in resolving disputes.
• Perform additional accounting duties as required to support the department.
• Minimum of two years of accounting experience coupled with a high school diploma.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and document management systems like DocuShare.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and address disputes effectively.
• Familiarity with order processing, billing procedures, and external programs.
• Experience with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and invoice processing.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry.
