A company is looking for a Health Information Management Technician.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct chart auditing to ensure necessary documentation is completed for billing claims

Monitor quality assurance and compliance processes, presenting findings to leadership

Collaborate with other departments to develop compliance standards and communicate effectively

Required Qualifications

Undergraduate degree (preferred)

1-3 years of billing and / or collection experience in a healthcare setting

Experience with payers including Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid

Strong knowledge of Windows-based software applications

RHIA or RHIT certification and CPC Coding certification are preferred
