The fellowship will prepare trainees to provide a broad range of behavioral health services in an outpatient behavioral health setting, with a focus on adults with ADHD and comorbid disorders. In addition to providing clinical services, fellows participate in regularly scheduled training activities such as weekly individual supervision with a licensed psychologist(s). Throughout the training year, fellows work closely with interdisciplinary team members, such as psychiatrists. Fellows will also have the opportunity to work closely with other trainees and other psychology fellows in the department.
PhD in Clinical or School Psychology Required
Responsibilities amp; Training Experiences
- Conducting comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to diagnose ADHD and comorbid disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, learning disorders), writing integrative reports with individualized recommendations, and providing feedback to patients
- Providing individual psychotherapy using evidence-based interventions for ADHD and comorbid disorders
- Providing umbrella supervision to psychiatry residents in monthly ADHD diagnosis meetings
- Select a one-day secondary rotation. Examples of possible secondary rotations (dependent on supervisor availability) :
